We love having simple finger food meals that include bite sized foods for an easy way to throw together a week night meal on the cheap.  This Walmart Price Match Recipe: Asian BBQ Pork Sliders is one of our favorite quick pantry meals.  Not only does it use the latest sale cut of chicken I have on hand, but it uses some of the quick and easy items we keep stocked in our pantry thanks to great sales with coupons.  This is also a great “set it and forget it” meal for your slow cooker for busy days.

Walmart Price Match Recipe: Asian BBQ Pork Sliders

Cook time: 4 hours

Total time: 4 hours 15 mins

Serves: 8


Ingredients

  • 1 Boneless Pork Loin Roast

  • 1 Bottle Hickory Smoke or Brown Sugar BBQ Sauce

  • 1 Cup Hoisin Sauce

  • 1/2 Cup Teriyaki Sauce

  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic

  • Salt & Pepper to taste

  • 1 Package Sister Schubert’s Rolls or Similar Yeast Roll/Hot Roll you prefer



Instructions


  1. Place pork loin in roasting pan or slow cookerand lightly sprinkle all sides with salt and pepper.

  2. Spread minced garlic over top of pork loin and add 1 cup water to bottom of roasting pan or slow cooker

  3. Cook on medium heat (if in slow cooker) for 4 hours. Cook at 375 degrees for 3-4 hours in oven if using roasting pan method.

  4. While roast is cooking, mix together in small saucepan bbq sauce, hoisin sauce, teriyaki sauce and bring to a boil.

  5. Cook for 2-3 minutes and remove from heat

  6. When roast is done cooking use forks and shred leaving in roasting pan or slow cooker drippings.

  7. Pour BBQ sauce mixture over shredded meat and mix until all coated and jucies from cooking are incorporated into sauce as well.

  8. Heat rolls as directed on package. Slice in half and use as a “bun”

We love these Asian BBQ Pork Sliders served with a simple cole slaw or grilled vegetable for an easy and delicious meal.  These are great for potlucks, parties, dinners with friends or just to serve to your family because they have begged for it.
