Wow! Walmart just unleashed a torrent of awesome info about what they will be doing this Holiday season and it is so cool! There is a very helpful infographic at the bottom of the page and their press release can be found here. Let’s break this monster down.
Starting tomorrow, November 1st, Walmart will RollBack prices on over 20,000 products including groceries, toys, electronics and more!
Walmart is bringing back its popular 24-hour holiday cyber savings event. All season long, customers can take advantage of free shipping on millions of items from Walmart.com. They have also promised FREE shipping on the top 100 gifts this Holiday season.
Walmart has expanded its digital shelves to include 7 million items – one million more than last holiday season. Deals typically reserved for Black Friday and Cyber Monday start on Walmart.com shortly after midnight Pacific Time on Monday, Nov. 3. They include:
The retailer will also offer hundreds of weekly online specials on electronics, apparel, home and toys. Same-day pickup in Walmart stores is available while supplies last at no additional charge. In addition, free shipping to customers’ homes is available for orders totaling $50 or more. Customers can also choose free shipping to Walmart’s more than 4,300 stores.
Timed for Thanksgiving meal planning, Walmart is expanding Savings Catcher to bring even more savings to the kitchen. Beginning Nov. 2, holiday turkey and ham will be eligible for Savings Catcher, giving families confidence that they’re getting a great price on these holiday meal essentials.
I just used this for the first time and it is so cool. Just use the search bar at the top of your Walmart app and search for anything Walmart carries. Walmart will not only tell you the price of that product at your store but also tell you exactly where in the store it is and whether or not it is in stock. No more hunting around for that elusive vitamin or dog food you need to pick up.
Starting Nov. 7, children and parents can build a Toy Wish List for Santa by adding their favorite toys directly from Walmart’s digital Toy Book. Wish lists can be shared on Facebook and in email with friends and family.
New this year, Walmart is sharing how-to videos, product demos, seasonal recipes and other tips across multiple platforms where customers seek holiday inspiration, including Pinterest, YouTube and Walmart.com.
Customers taking advantage of Walmart’s holiday layaway with no opening fee can stretch dollars further by paying at their own pace through Dec. 15.
Walmart’s great prices are backed by its Ad Match Guarantee. Stores will match the price of any local competitor’s printed ad for an identical product.

Customers can expect to find self-checkouts open and a cashier in every lane.

When my kids were growing up, I can remember taking MANY trips down to the local GameStop to pick up a cheap used game for the kids. It was a great way to save money and we could get rid of the games we were no longer playing.
Now you can do that at your local Walmart or at Walmart.com! You can go to the Walmart.com Exchange page, type in the game you want to trade in and it will tell you how much you can get for your games. You can do it all online and they will send you a Walmart Giftcard for that amount, or take it to your local store and get your giftcard immediately. Walmart will also start selling used games in select stores.
There are also ways to trade in other electronics like phones, tablets, MP3s and more. You can see more info on that here.
Now here is the really awesome news to get you to use this service. You can get Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare a day early exclusively at Walmart. The “Day Zero Edition†will be available starting at 12:01 a.m. local time on Monday, Nov. 3 in more than 3,600 stores.
Walmart will also offer a 50% bonus on trade-ins for customers who purchase the game so make sure you take every used game you have in to the store with you to maximize your savings!
