Weird Walmart News: SavingStar Can Now Be Used at Walmart!

Looks like there is a new player in the “take a pic of your receipt for a rebate” market!  SavingStar is a smartphone app that, in the past, allowed you to connect your loyalty reward cards for local stores to get rebates back on certain products.  Now, you take a pic of your receipt for stores without loyalty card programs like Dollar General, Family Dollar, Target, Walgreen’s, Meijer, WinCo, and most importantly Walmart.

Looking through the available rebates, there are some REALLY great deals and even a couple FREEbies so I’ll be posting a few of the best deals for the rest of the evening.
