Here’s a great price match and coupon for Lunchables! The coupon says 4.5oz on it but doesn’t say if it’s good for Lunchables 4.5oz less or more. The Lunchable pictured on the coupon is the same as theones listed in the price match opportunity so your mileage may vary a little on this one.
Since starting this blog I have been contacted by readers many times with questions about couponing, Frugal Living, Walmart’s policies and procedures, and various other little things. I figure if one person is wondering about it, there might be others so this will be an on-going feature to answer the most common questions that come up. Will Walmart Take RR’s or ECB’s?
Short Answer? No.
If you don’t know what this question is referring to, Walgreen’s and CVS both have rewards programs where you can get money back on future purchases when you buy certain products. Here’s an example.
That red arrow is pointing to the 3000 rewards points you would get if you bought this from Walgreens. These are good at Walgreen’s only and cannot be used at Walmart.
This is usually the next question that comes up. In the example above, you’ve got a final price listed of 3/$5 so it looks like you should be able to price match this cereal at Walmart to $1.66 a box.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way. Here’s the wording from Walmart’s policy.
We do not match the price in the following types of competitor ads:
Items that require a purchase to get a competitors’ gift card
example: "Buy [item A] to get a $B gift card
These RRs and ECBs are essentially giftcards meant to be used on your next transaction so Walmart will not allow you to price match that after-RR price.

Walmart Price Match Recipe: Mexican Stockpile Soup
INGREDIENTS
1 10oz. Bag Frozen Whole Kernel Corn
2 Cans Ranch Style Beans
1 Can Black Beans
1 Can Tomato Soup
1 Can Diced Tomatoes
1 Bell Pepper Diced
1 Onion Diced
1 1/2 Cups Water
1 Package Taco Seasoning
Shredded cheese for topping (optional)
DIRECTIONS
In a large stockpot, cook onions and bell pepper in 1 tablespoon olive oil until soft (6-8 minutes)
Pour in remaining ingredients (except cheese) and stir until well mixed
Cook on medium heat for 30-35 minutes stirring occasionally
Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, diced tomatoes, crackers or tortillas.

Your Shopping Cart is Disgusting!
Most of us don’t think about what went on with a shopping cart before we used it but let’s take a minute and discuss the average day for a cart.
It holds raw fish, chicken, and pork
Bloody juices from meat products pour all over it
People touch raw meat and then grab the handle
Babies sit in the front and drool all over the handle
Babies have “accidents†that 5 diapers couldn’t contain
People sneeze and cough on them
Long story short, shopping carts are practically petri dishes for all kinds of horrible germs. How bad is it? One research study found 50% of shopping carts have e. coli and 72% have coliform bacteria. All that coliform bacteria tells us that fecal matter is involved in contaminating these carts.
Even if you aren’t a germ-o-phobe, you have to admit that those numbers are terrifying.
I’m not telling you this to scare you but to make you aware of the issue. Fortunately, there is a very simple solution. Just sanitize your cart before you use it.
Sanitize Those Carts!
Most stores have a sanitization station set up near the carts with wipes or a bottle of sanitizer and paper towels, use it. If you just have the wipes, scrub the handle down well and then be sure to only touch the handle. If your store has the spray, be sure to cover the whole cart in a fine mist and then wipe down the handle so your hands don’t get wet.
You can also carry a package of cloroz wipes with you if your store doesn’t provide any. And don’t forget to wipe down the handles of baskets if your shopping with those instead of a cart.
Also, be sure to wash your hands after touching a cart, even if you’ve sanitized it. Better safe than sorry.

How to Send Your Expired Coupons to Overseas Military
I’ve talked a little about this in the past but I think it would be helpful to make tin info a little more accessible to all of us. Every month you can send all your expired coupons to our overseas military where they can use coupons up to 6 months past their expiration dates.
Money gets stretched this when you are living off one income and are away from your extended families so it is incredibly important that our military families get these coupons so they can make their dollars go as far as they can.
How do I sort the coupons?
If you have the time, you can sort your coupons into food and non-food baggies. However, in the past when I’ve said that, I’ve gotten some push-back from people who say they don’t have the time to sort.
The important thing here is that the coupons get sent. If you clip all your coupons and it’s no big deal to throw them in 2 different piles. sort them. If you keep your inserts whole except for what you clip, don’t sort them if you don’t have the time. Just be sure to send them out.
The one advantage to clipping coupons instead of sending whole inserts is your postage will be cheaper. Also keep in mind that you don’t need to send printable coupons, they already have access to those.
Can I Select Where My Coupons Go?
