Walmart 2013 Christmas Holiday Shipping FAQ’s

Walmart has greatly improved their shipping terms this year but it has led to some questions.  Here are your answers.

Does Walmart offer FREE Shipping?

Walmart offers FREE shipping within the continental US for any order over $35.  You can also select Site-to-Store which will ship your order to your local Walmart for FREE. 

Does Walmart ship to Hawaii, Alaska or Puerto Rico?

Walmart offers shipping on selected products to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Protectorates like Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands.  Shipping charges vary by weight, item, and shipping option.

• For Alaska and Hawaii, there is a surcharge of $1.00 per pound


• For U.S. Protectorates, there is a  surcharge of  $1.25 per pound

To find out how much your item will cost to ship:

1. Add your item to your cart


2. Click Proceed to Checkout


3. Enter or verify your shipping destination


4. Choose a shipping method

Your shipping cost will appear in the Order Summary on the right side of the page.  Click Continue to proceed with checkout, or Edit Order to leave checkout.

Does Walmart offer rush shipping?

Yes, up to 1-2 business days.  Here is a pricing guide.

How long will it take to receive my shipment?

While estimated delivery dates are shown on product pages and in your cart, the most accurate delivery estimate is shown in checkout after you’ve entered your shipping address and selected a shipping method.

Multiple shipments for a single order

If your order has multiple items, they may be shipped from different warehouses and arrive in different boxes on different dates. We do not charge you extra for split shipments.

What is the last day to order to receive a shipment before Christmas?

December 19th at 2PM EST will be the final cutoff for Standard shipping.

December 23rd will be the cutoff for overnight shipping
